changedWe've been fielding numerous questions from the community about what sets Dungeons of Edera 2 apart from its predecessor. We're excited to share that DOE2 will boast significant improvements in three key areas.
addedFirst and foremost, we're thrilled to introduce 4 player Co-op, allowing you to experience the game with friends in a whole new way. Additionally, our Art Direction has undergone a major overhaul, resulting in enhanced visuals and atmosphere that will fully immerse you in the world. Lastly, we've focused on improving the Fluidity of Combat, ensuring smoother, more responsive combat mechanics for a better overall gameplay experience. Additionally, a new equilibrium system has been introduced, preventing characters from being getting stun locked to death.
changedUpon reaching maximum level and completing the storyline, players will have access to challenge dungeons. These dungeons focus on acquiring additional strength for characters through loot and feature various challenges, including timed dungeons, arena-style boss fights, and survival mode.
changedThe game's procedural dungeon generation has also undergone significant improvements. Moving away from predesigned dungeon chunks, the game now generates totally random dungeons at the beginning of each run. Each dungeon includes several "points of interest" with concentrated enemies and loot, as well as boss areas where players will be locked in until they emerge victorious or defeated.

The storyline is a continuation from the first game, but with a twist. Instead of controlling a single hero, players take on the role of a mercenary organization assisting factions in war via contracts. The choices made during these missions will gain or lose favor with factions, influencing the availability of faction-specific classes, crafting, and bonuses.

Upon reaching maximum level and completing the storyline, players will have access to challenge dungeons. These dungeons focus on acquiring additional strength for characters through loot and feature various challenges, including timed dungeons, arena-style boss fights, and survival mode.
