Repeated intro

Hello dear Delverians,

What changed

0 fixes4 additions2 changes0 removals
  • Maps
  • Performance
  • UI and audio
addedNew terrain powers. This is taking a bit more time than intended but I hope to have around 10 new ones ready soon. This would add more variety to the runs and for those of you who manage to reach to the end of the demo.
changedTorches! I would like to include torches to the game, which would act as additional light sources when the player has a line of sight to the torch. They would of course have some interesting terrain shaping options as well.
addedSound effects . The first set of sound effects is likely making its way to the game as soon as during the next update. I am not sure if these would be highly requested or not, please let me know if they feel out of place and I can always roll back their usage. Or if they feel like they add to the experience I can try to look for more. But they will hopefully make the game easier to market in the era of social media.
addedA new boss! There will be a new boss coming to the game very soon. Hopefully alongside the sound effect update next week. Here is his current sprite as a teaser.
addedNew biome and more enemies! This is directly related to the goal of expanding the game even further, the current 10 floors won't be enough for the full release, so I want to add more environments to cater for a longer experience. Ideally this should be out before end of July if things go as planned.
changedAnd I think that is it for now! The repurposing of equipment is still going, if you have any ideas on how you would like the equipment support the experience of using terrain powers, let me know. Ideally, in my vision at least, you folks should always feel that using the terrain powers should be more beneficial in beating the enemies than just beating them with a stick. And hopefully I can tune the experience towards that bit by bit. Wishing you all a happy Midsummer, Teemu from Delveria Games

Here at Delveria Games the Finnish Midsummer is in full swing. That hasn't prevented me from working on Dungeons of Delveria though, and the current list of items that are on the developing table include exciting stuff such as:
