Dungeon Defenders: Awakened changes
This week's update brings a new Map of the Week rotation to Lost Metropolis, introduces a brand-new special pet, includes tavern lighting improvements, and addresses several issues related to movement speed buffs and map audio.
New Map of the Week
This week's Map of the Week is Lost Metropolis.
Campaign
Completing the Map of the Week on Nightmare or Massacre difficulty awards double Rune drops.
Survival
Must be completed with the Rifted Mode difficulty modifier enabled.
Nightmare Difficulty Rewards
Fused Ancient Armor
Fused Katana
Lil Bomber
Massacre Difficulty Rewards
Arcanist Gloves
Lil Bomber (all variants can drop)
Fused Harold
Mixed Mode
Must be completed with the Rifted Mode difficulty modifier enabled.
Nightmare Difficulty Rewards
Fused Ancient Armor
Fused Katana
Lil Bomber
Massacre Difficulty Rewards
Arcanist gloves
Fused Harold
Emerald Barron
New Special Pet: Emerald Barron
Deals Poison damage.
Has stats similar to a Golden Lil Bomber, while retaining the range values of a regular Lil Bomber.
Projectiles have 10% more explosion radius than a standard Lil Bomber.
Grants 10% movement speed.
Fires emerald rockets.
Will become a rare drop from the Promenade Challenge during the next Map of the Week rotation.

Lighting Updates
Updated the Tavern lighting to reduce overall brightness and improve visual comfort.
Bug Fixes
Reduced the volume of the Lost Metropolis flythrough sequence by 15%.
Fixed an issue where movement speed buffs from pets were not properly applying their intended 25% movement speed increase.
Fixed an issue where movement speed buffs granted by pets did not have an infinite duration.
