added➕ AddedAdded Vietnamese text localization.
added➕ AddedAdded a very subtle hit-stop effect when striking zombies with melee weapons. It won't dramatically change the feel of combat, but it should make weapons feel slightly heavier. This is currently experimental, and if players feel it makes combat worse, it will be removed.
changed➕ AddedAdded directional camera shake for melee attacks. Previously, camera shake played in random directions. Now it follows the direction of the swing. For example, if you swing from left to right, the camera shake will also move from left to right. This should further improve the sense of weapon weight. The default intensity remains as subtle as before, but it can be adjusted in the GAME settings.
added➕ AddedAdded a new item — Throwing Knife . It is intended for the early game before you can afford a pistol. It deals less damage than bullets and can break after hitting an enemy. The chance to break is 80% for body hits and 90% for headshots. Headshots deal increased damage, similar to the pistol, but will not kill in a single hit. Throwing knives also do not attract zombies when they hit a target. Several can be found in the upper bunker, they also have a very small chance to drop from metal trash, and can be found on the lower levels.
added➕ AddedAdded a new item — Construction Helmet . It protects the player from one hit. The helmet added in the previous update now protects against two hits. Can be found on the lower levels.
added➕ AddedAdded a new item — Pipe . This is a melee weapon that is weaker than the modern axe and has low durability. It exists to give players a chance to defend themselves early in the game if their axe breaks. Can be found on the lower levels.

➕ Added

  • Added Vietnamese text localization.

  • Added a very subtle hit-stop effect when striking zombies with melee weapons. It won't dramatically change the feel of combat, but it should make weapons feel slightly heavier. This is currently experimental, and if players feel it makes combat worse, it will be removed.

  • Added directional camera shake for melee attacks. Previously, camera shake played in random directions. Now it follows the direction of the swing. For example, if you swing from left to right, the camera shake will also move from left to right. This should further improve the sense of weapon weight. The default intensity remains as subtle as before, but it can be adjusted in the GAME settings.

  • Added a new item — Throwing Knife.

  • Added a new item — Construction Helmet. It protects the player from one hit. The helmet added in the previous update now protects against two hits. Can be found on the lower levels.

  • Added a new item — Pipe. This is a melee weapon that is weaker than the modern axe and has low durability. It exists to give players a chance to defend themselves early in the game if their axe breaks. Can be found on the lower levels.

  • Added a new mission type for the lower levels — Delivery. Players must travel to a specific room, find an item, and deliver it to the Delivery Point located near the elevator. The required item must be placed there to complete the mission. Two delivery missions have been added.

  • Added one new variation of the lower-level starting room.

  • Added two new lower-level corridor variations.

  • Added blood effects to zombie bodies when they take damage.

  • Added three new zombie appearance variations.

  • Added a new zombie type — Female Runner. She is faster than regular running zombies. When blocked, she reduces equipment durability by 3 instead of 1, but has less health than a standard zombie. Appears later in the game.

  • Added a new zombie type — Brute. When blocked, he reduces equipment durability by 5 instead of 1. Armor durability is reduced by 2 instead of 1. He also has slightly more health than the armored zombie. Appears later in the game.

  • Added the ability to earn money by sending harvested crops through the service elevator. Previously, this was partially possible by throwing crops into the trash chute, but very few players knew about it. Most players naturally tried using the service elevator and were disappointed when they received no reward. Now harvested crops sent through the service elevator will earn money, making farming more rewarding and slightly speeding up the early game.

  • Added lootable bags and lockers to the lower levels.

  • Added support for rebinding the mouse wheel in the controls. Mouse wheel icons have also been added.

  • Added a hotbar controls hint.

  • Added the ability to rebind hotbar item switching keys.

  • Added the ability to reopen and close rooms after using the Black and Red Key Cards.

  • Added a tutorial popup that appears when attempting to interact with an object that can only be interacted with while in a stable position.

  • Added bunker upgrade missions up to Sector 0. Also added missions that appear after obtaining one of the trunk keys and the Purple Key Card, as some players were forgetting about these mandatory but non-obvious objectives.

  • Added a Radial Progress Bar when interacting with objects that require holding the interaction button (currently used for the crowbar, shovel, and watering can).

🔧 Fixed

  • Fixed cases where lower levels could fail to generate completely.

  • Fixed AI occasionally spawning stuck inside walls or in places where they should not appear on the lower levels.

  • Fixed the autosave interval not updating after changing it in the settings.

  • Fixed cases where a hotbar slot appeared selected when it wasn't.

  • Fixed cases where the selected hotbar slot would fail to automatically equip its item.

  • Fixed the durability bar displaying incorrectly while replacing one item with another.

  • Fixed rare cases where blood effects would not appear when hitting enemies.

  • Fixed missing sound and visual effects when zombies emerged from the ceiling in one of the lower-level corridors.

✨ Improvements & Tweaks

  • Increased the maximum stack size for crops:

    • Cabbage: 2 → 5

    • Tomato Crate: 2 → 3

    • Corn Crate: 2 → 3

    • Sunflowers: 3 → 6

    • Pumpkin: 2 → 4

    • Watermelon: 2 → 4

  • The service elevator now only accepts harvested crops. Previously, it was possible to accidentally lose important items such as your axe, or even the terminal or water dispenser.

  • Updated the collision sounds for tomato and corn crates.

  • Slightly increased the drop chance of Organic Waste.

  • Improved the collision of the crowbar-opened door. You can now shoot through it.

  • Updated the image shown in the inventory tutorial popup.

  • Reduced the cost of the first belt by 10.

  • Reduced the spawn chance of fast zombies during the lower-level sector sealing mission.

  • Slightly optimized lower-level generation.

  • Updated the lighting of the guide lamps on the lower levels. Their light is now spread over a wider area instead of being concentrated in a single point, improving the overall atmosphere.
