Similar to Girlworm mode, Digital Pet mode is a piece of content from late in the game. What this DLC does is allow it to be accessed with an on/off switch in the Settings menu in a separate, isolated experience from how it would otherwise appear.
** DLC Modes do not accumulate score.
Activating either the Girlworm DLC or the Digital Pet DLC turns off the main game, so it does not contribute to your score or affect anything else.
