Drift Legends 2 changes
Summer Update & Rally Stars DLC — Now Live on Steam!
Today we’re finally able to announce the full release of the summer update for Drift Legends 2 on Steam. The game itself was updated about a week ago or so, but we encountered an issue while launching the corresponding DLC, which has only been resolved today.
Main changes in this update:
Added the first DLC — Rally Stars
Added 4 new cars
Added 30 new challenges
Added new liveries, license plates and rims
Updated the Ghost recording system
Global chat disabled due to toxicity
Fixed bug with player tags
Improved overall stability
I’ll share more detailed information about the new DLC in a couple of days. However, for everyone who decided to support the project or bought this DLC out of curiosity, I want to give you a quick heads-up: when you start, you’ll begin with one car, not all four right away. Don’t worry — this is intentional and part of the design.
Regarding the multiplayer global chat — unfortunately, we had to disable it. Many players were using profanity, engaging in toxic behavior, and so on. Since we don’t have the ability to moderate the chat in real-time, we decided it was best to turn it off completely. We understand that the majority of players are perfectly reasonable and have nothing to do with this, but as the saying goes, “a spoonful of tar spoils a barrel of honey.”
We hope you enjoy the update and the DLC. I’ll write a bit more about the details soon. Good luck and see you on the track!
