Additions:
Some new voices. Many more to come!
Improvements:
Improved FX scripts (should be a lot more efficient)
Bug Fixes:
Death statistics should now display the correct values (some players saw 0 broken objects, fire and breaches whatever the reality was).
Fixed the issue misplacing the player (under the ground) on the first launch of the game (very hard to reproduce, but now seems to have dissapeared)
The load panel could crash and never load anymore correctly. This is now impossible, the load panel should always work as intended and be pretty.
Removed the redirection to website when clicking on the version number in the main menu. It will be restored as soon as the website is online again.
Fixed description of research SimiliMetal (R28) : it said "plastic" instead of "metal".
Others:
Numerous improvements in tools needed for development, mostly by updating to the new Unity version (no change in game except maybe some minor CPU optimizations)
Successfully finished to "branch out" the VR version, so it's now synchronized with the "Standalone branch" and vice-versa. Meaning I can work on either version, the changes made will be available for both (unless I decide not to).
No, it's not the VR version that is released today. The version released today contains (among other things) all the improvements uneeded for VR version but that was made anyway on it. The VR version is still alive in our dreams, and so it will obviously become real one day! Also, big sorry to the mac users, but they will have to wait a little more before this update is available on macOs. Happy new year, happy hollidays and happy drifting! Demo available on Steam.
