With the latest update for Dreadmark Outlaws, we’re not only adding new content, but also laying the technical foundation for what’s coming next.
🌄 New Map – A New Battlefield Awaits
A brand-new map is now available.
Explore a fresh environment filled with atmosphere, new routes, and tactical opportunities. Whether you prefer solo, co-op, or PvP — this map will challenge you in new ways.
⚙️ Performance Overhaul – Smoother Than Ever
We’ve made major performance improvements across all maps:
Optimized GameThread
Reduced draw calls and CPU load
Improved frame pacing stability
Optimizations for lower-end systems & Steam Deck
In addition, we’ve now implemented a Screen Space option.
👉 If you experience performance issues with Lumen, you can switch to Screen Space and still maintain solid visual quality — with significantly better performance.
And we’re not stopping here — performance will remain a core focus going forward.
🧟 New Zombies – The Threat Grows
The undead are evolving.
New zombie variants are now part of the game — each with unique behavior and increased danger. Stay alert… or get overwhelmed.
⚡ New Tesla Tower (Tower Defense Mode)
A new defensive option is now available:
Tesla Tower
Deals electric damage
Especially effective against fast enemies
Adds new tactical options to your defense
Perfect for holding chokepoints when things get intense.
