Dreadline: Net Quota changes
We’ve heard your feedback. Many players felt monsters were appearing too frequently and too aggressively compared to Early Access - especially in the early game.
This hotfix slows things down. Creatures should now appear less often, giving more breathing room while keeping the tension intact.
Siren
Early-Game spawn time: 60 → 110 (+83%)
Late-Game spawn time: 40 → 65 (+63%) Spawn chance remains 50%
Also removed from Driftwood bay
Sea Ghast
Early-Game spawn time: 40 → 60 (+50%)
Late-Game spawn time: 25 → 35 (+40%) Spawn chance remains 50%
Fish Stealer
Fixed an issue where Fishacles could spawn inside safe zones
Increased hitbox size for more consistent combat
Fish Stealer will no longer appear if there are no fish present
Eyelurker
Early-Game spawn time: 60 → 125 (+108%)
Late-Game spawn time: 40 → 55 (+38%) Spawn chance remains 50%
Codfather
Early-Game aggro rate: 0.03 → 0.025 (−17%)
Late-Game aggro rate: 0.1 → 0.08 (−20%) Spawn chance remains 50%
Tentacle
Early-Game spawn time: 60 → 75 (+25%)
Late-Game spawn time: 90 → 120 (+33%)
⚓ Ship Graveyard Adjustments
Decreased overall monster spawns (we accidentally had one too many 😬)
Removed Codfather from the Ship Graveyard (You're not supposed to be here, stick to Driftwood bay!)

To give players a bit more reaction time:
Electrical failure timer:
Early-Game: 150 → 160 (+7%)
Late-Game: 180 → 180 (no change)
Engine failure timer:
Early-Game: 120 → 130 (+8%)
Late-Game: 150 → 160 (+7%)
