changedWe’re excited to announce that our Closed Beta will take place on May 22, 23 and 24!
addedSince the last beta, we’ve made several major changes to the gameplay . Movement is now fully free instead of tile based, and the controls have been reworked into a fully mouse adapted, 100% action combat system instead of the previous hybrid style. We’ve also introduced a wide range of other improvements to make the experience smoother, more fluid and more comfortable overall.
changedPlayers who already received access during the previous beta won’t need to request it again, as access remains active .
addedFor those who haven’t received access before, you can request it through our Steam page . New invitations will be gradually sent out over time.
changedBecause of the major gameplay changes, the servers are now under significantly heavier load. To help ensure stability while we scale server capacity and gradually allow more players online at the same time, we’ll be using a queue system
addedThe focus of this Beta is testing the new core mechanics, as they have changed the game fundamentally. That is why this test will be smaller than the last one and will not be broadly advertised. We want to gather your feedback and see how the game feels now that we’ve changed everything.

We’re really excited for you to jump in and try all these changes for yourselves!

  • Players who already received access during the previous beta won’t need to request it again, as access remains active.

  • For those who haven’t received access before, you can request it through our Steam page. New invitations will be gradually sent out over time.

  • If you already have access, you’ll also be able to invite friends (up to 3), as long as you’ve been friends with them on Steam for at least 30 days.

  • Because of the major gameplay changes, the servers are now under significantly heavier load. To help ensure stability while we scale server capacity and gradually allow more players online at the same time, we’ll be using a queue system

  • We truly appreciate your patience, especially on the first day. We know many of you are eager to jump in, and we want you to know that our team will be working hard behind the scenes to make the experience as smooth as possible.

The focus of this Beta is testing the new core mechanics, as they have changed the game fundamentally. That is why this test will be smaller than the last one and will not be broadly advertised. We want to gather your feedback and see how the game feels now that we’ve changed everything.

We also want to test the PvP modes, since in Drakantos you can level up and progress through PvP instead of Adventures if you prefer. This Beta will feature 13 PvP maps and 3 different modes. By participating, you will earn special beta boxes that unlock endgame content, allowing you to try different builds and have fun. These boxes will not exist in the official game and are only meant to give players broader access to content during this short beta period.

The PvE content remains the same as in the last Closed Beta, since we do not want to spoil the story or progression, especially when players will already have access to powerful items through the special boxes, which naturally disrupt the intended progression flow. Even so, you can still play the PvE content to try the new movement and controls.

Our internal tests have been incredibly fun so far and we genuinely can’t wait to see all of you jump in as well! 😄

During the playtest, you’ll be free to stream, record, and watch others play as much as you’d like.

We’ll also be sharing all the details as we get closer to launch, including how PvP will work during the beta, how to obtain those boxes, which heroes will be available and much more.

Thank you again for all your support! ❤️

Extra: Small teaser of our PvP Ping System!
