addedCharacter System4 new character classes were added ( Valkyrie , Ashigaru , Lord , and Executor ). Characters now have a third Accessory slot, allowing more build variety. In addition, stats used by weapons now grow at a faster rate, so if you want to grow a specific stat faster, use a corresponding weapon.
addedIntensive TrainingCharacters can level up before reaching the required XP by undergoing intensive training at the Guild. Intensive training costs twice as much as normal training, so this option exists to cover corner cases, like quickly getting a new character up to speed.

In this series of posts, I will share a few details about the expansion and address common questions along the way. The expansion is still in development, and adjustments will be made during internal playtesting, so the information presented here is not 100% final.

Please note that Aftermath is designed for players who have completed the base game and seek more of the same, but with some tweaks and additions.

Character System

4 new character classes were added (Valkyrie, Ashigaru, Lord, and Executor). Characters now have a third Accessory slot, allowing more build variety. In addition, stats used by weapons now grow at a faster rate, so if you want to grow a specific stat faster, use a corresponding weapon.

Intensive Training

Characters can level up before reaching the required XP by undergoing intensive training at the Guild. Intensive training costs twice as much as normal training, so this option exists to cover corner cases, like quickly getting a new character up to speed.

Wound System

Downed characters can suffer from wounds, which cause long-term debuffs. The wounds wear off after a while, but it's a good idea to let characters rest in town until they recover.
