What is DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS 2?

This critically-acclaimed RPG combines a rich story, intuitive building mechanics, and iconic elements from the beloved DRAGON QUEST to craft a uniquely compelling experience.

You take the role of a Builder - one of the only people in the world with the power of creation. Stranded on a desolate island, you’ll have to use your skills and imagination to build impressive structures, craft items and resources, complete quests for your ever-growing community of lovable characters and defeat the sinister Children of Hargon.

All Season Pass DLC content included as standard

Originally released on consoles earlier this year, the PC version of the game includes a bounty of additional content. As standard, you get the three extra content packs that were included in the Season Pass:

  • The Hotto Stuff Pack - more than 40 recipes for items and structures inspired by the Hotto Steppe area from DRAGON QUEST XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.

  • Aquarium Pack - there’s something a little fishy about this content. Oh, it’s fish! The Aquarium Pack adds a whole new island where you can learn to catch and breed 40 different types of fish. Plus you can build your own aquarium, craft new tools and items and more!

  • Modernist Pack - more than 70 recipes perfect for the 21st Century Builder, including modern-looking structures, materials, haircuts and clothing.

How to get the additional content

If you order the game from Steam before January 6, 2020, you’ll get access to additional content that lets you customize your game even more.

This content includes:

  • Ornamental Medicinal Herb Recipe

  • Dragon Quest Logo Recipe

  • Ornamental Chimaera Wing Recipe

  • Five Sigil Block Recipes for building decorative blocks with sun, stars, moon, water and soul motifs

  • Legendary Line Art Recipe

  • Lo-Res Luminary Recipes
