changedValve index controller adjustments:Moved the spectate button to B on the left controller to prevent accidental pressing when making fists. This replaces the quit/abandon fight shortcut, so use the pause menu to abandon instead
changedOther changes:Calibration adjustments you will now be a bit bigger relative to your character so that arms will be a bit more outstretched when yours are, and your character will stand up straighter if you are. Let me know if you get any issues with short arms or standing on tip toes
addedOther changes:Seated mode now available. Access via Options > VR in the options menu

Thank you all!

Very pleased with the reviews, comments and videos Ive been seeing. Thank you so much. Its been a test of endurance making this game, and there's always more that could be done - so its such a relief to see people enjoying it.

Demo

For those that haven't got the game yet, I will be releasing a playable demo tomorrow featuring the training chambers and 2 opponents: Ling Hou & Onochi Takahashi

Valve index controller adjustments:

  • Now Detects fist based on finger positions rather than the amount of squeeze, so loose fists will now activate pressure points and get you through the chambers

  • Mr Timothy's move will now be activated properly by trigger

  • Moved the spectate button to B on the left controller to prevent accidental pressing when making fists. This replaces the quit/abandon fight shortcut, so use the pause menu to abandon instead

Other changes:

  • Calibration adjustments you will now be a bit bigger relative to your character so that arms will be a bit more outstretched when yours are, and your character will stand up straighter if you are. Let me know if you get any issues with short arms or standing on tip toes

  • Seated mode now available. Access via Options > VR in the options menu

  • Chi ball adjusted, now can launch it early by pushing forwards while its generating. But can still use the old volleyball technique if you generate it fully in front of your face. Also fixed an issue where it bounced off sometimes.

  • The full marks achievement should now work ok

  • Some minor errors fixed

Plans:

Here are some things I am thinking about for the near future that people have requested (or based on suggestions) + a few things I am thinking about. No promises for any of it other than I intend to look into doing them...

  • Oculus/Meta quest standalone version (95% done)

  • Full body/leg tracking - I hope to get some trackers in the new year

  • Bigger wrists - I know some of the wrists are thin an some people find that un-immersive, so I will see if I can make them a bit more realistic

  • "Realism mode"? was thinking of a mode without specials, slow mo and dashes. For those who are after a more realistic game. Custom mode covers a lot already, but maybe Realism could be available earlier - its an idea in progress

  • More stuff for youtubers/streamers - I might see if I can get the mouth moving when you talk, I might look into LIV support, and I might allow you to put your logo or something on a noticeboard

  • Spectator view and/or stabilised mirror view on screen

  • Maybe sneak in the one armed boxers and/or kurayami as opponents somewhere, maybe like a bonus/hidden round

  • Longer Term I want to try multiplayer both PvP and Coop, but don't know until I try whether it will work nicely with the physics and fast page

  • I have some other ideas that I will keep to myself for now but think could be great

Video

And here is a video about how to use the chi ball + some changes to it:
