addedI am proud to say Dragon Creek has everything that was originally planned, as well as a good deal of additional content that players established as a high priority. It pains me that while I wasn't able to add everything that players suggested, I was able to add the much requested bloom option, zoom feature, food variety, and a bunch of unique dragon codes.
addedI have since moved on to work on new games. I still check the steam forums and fix reported bugs, but otherwise Dragon Creek is in a completed state. I still plan to run sales and monitor Dragon Creek for the next several years, but currently Dragon Creek is no longer in development.

Dragon Creek has reached its first anniversary! Woohoo! What a journey!

Dragon Creek began development in November of 2019, and had a small following on discord and twitter.

A little more than a year later, Dragon Creek's first public build became available for free on itch. It underwent some testing before going into steam early access in January of 2021.

During early access the game saw moderate success and a handful of devoted players. Five months later, the game was released on May 2nd.

It pains me that while I wasn't able to add everything that players suggested, I was able to add the much requested bloom option, zoom feature, food variety, and a bunch of unique dragon codes.

I hope to explore more dragon games in the future. I learned a lot of different things that the dragon community wanted from a dragon game, and I gained a lot of experience working with the steam API and discord communities.

Thank you to those of you that helped with Dragon Creek. Your dragons and their special codes will remain in Dragon Creek as a memento to your hard work. For those that have just recently joined: Welcome! I know this little game isn't perfect but I hope you enjoy.

Good luck out there Dragon Trainers.
