Technocrats rely on their knowledge, technology, and thorough battle plans. The Cartographer clearly represents this philosophy. This small ground unit gives a combat fate penalty to your opponent for each ground zone you control. If you spread your units, you can get up to -2 penalty, which can be the difference between winning or losing, or between damaging a strong unit or a weak one. A brave commander will send weak units to empty zones just to get quick control over them. Then start a combat where the Cartographer is. And in the move phase maneuver his units to avoid opponent's retaliation. The inventors also get a new reinforcement, the Metachemist. This specialized units finds his place among those who master the combat planning. Moreover, since he's an Inventor, Marguerite can improve his extraction capabilities. On the other hand, Draconians send lesser units carelessly to the battlefield. These beasts do not hesitate to feed on each other to become stronger. The Gigagons excel at this. This pack includes the new Carnivorous Gigagon, which comes with an intimidating force of 7, and two powerful abilities. The first one allows it to become Shielded by sacrificing a comrade.
