MEMORANDUM — RE: Form 3NQ, Confirmation of Appointment
Effective immediately, Downer Management is open for business.
You've been named Director of a department that does not, strictly speaking, do anything yet. Fix that. Hire employees, file them into a formation, and send them up through a building full of middle managers who would very much like your chair.
There is one other candidate up for the same position. They filed early. They filed clean. Beat them to the top floor.
WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES
Run a department. Hire, promote, and demote a starting lineup of three plus a three-seat bench. The heart of every fight is who you move up and who you move down — in real time, mid-battle.
Permadeath, with paperwork. Lose an employee and they're filed in the archive. The budget moves on. So do you.
Climb the org chart. Clear a campaign of rival-run office towers — each with its own boss, culture, and grudge — all the way to the Corporate HQ finale.
Your nemesis remembers. The runner-up adapts to how you play and races you to confirmation, every single run.
Make the office yours. Design your boss's portrait, crest, business card, and an original department theme song — then put your real office on a shareable Starter Pack.
The Infinite Building. When the campaign's filed, the tower keeps going. So can you.
Streamer-ready. Twitch Mode lets chat vote, call in, and generally interfere — built in from day one.
NOT SURE YOU'RE MANAGEMENT MATERIAL?
A free demo is available now. Clear your first building and find out whether the bureaucracy agrees with you.
ON THE ORG CHART
Free content updates and the first Free expansion (Parking Lot) are already in the pipeline, with Steam Workshop support to follow.
Welcome aboard, Director. I'm Margaret. I handle everything you don't.
