Tonight's patch adds some important AI & player movement changes, map improvements, and plenty of bugfixes! Read on for the full patch notes. Additions and Improvements

  • AI now use an "Island Hopping" technique to pathfind -Previously, AI were often getting 'stuck' when trying to find a path over the entire map (up to 2km). This change should help increase the success of AI pathfinding.

  • Updated Flare description to reflect its new use for calling in aerial strikes

  • Reworked player movement control when falling/jumping

  • Decreased backwards movespeed by 5%

  • Fall damage now has a higher base damage, but requires a larger impact to trigger

  • Added warning sign to the minefield near the Old Airfield

  • Added new EU-North server

Bug fixes

  • Item crosshair now shows on Hardcore (no crosshairs) mode

  • The in-game map no longer tracks dead players

  • Typing space into chat no longer makes the character jump after the message is sent

  • Changed chopper movement algorithm to better handle dropped updates (smoother)

  • Fixed spectator bug when spectating a player with a Red-Dot Sight
