Hi everyone!

Here's a quick update on how things are going!!

🎮 Core Game

  • New amp enemy + polishing existing dream levels

  • Guitar assembly mini-game + new guitar luthier/factory location

  • New customization options for guitars (string colors, designer/painter tweaks)

👥 Multiplayer

  • Enemy AI for scorpion monster working in multiplayer

  • Guitar switching & transferring between players online

🎮 Where is the Demo?

For those wondering, the demo has been removed from the store for now. A lot of new features have been added recently, and the old demo's save file became incompatible with the current full game build.

To avoid confusion - especially around save data carry over to full game - I've deactivated the demo.

Also, online data submitted from the old demo could potentially conflict with the current online backend.

If you still have the demo installed, you'll notice that it can't be launched anymore. That is normal.

🖥️ Will the demo come back?

Possibly - I might bring it back closer to launch, especially for players who want to test performance on their system. Stay tuned!

💚 Already played the demo?

If you tried the demo and liked what you played, please consider wishlisting the game and spreading the word on social media.

It really means a lot - thank you!

🌐 Multiplayer Test Coming... Soon?

I'm planning a limited network test, possibly in a few weeks (depending on how development goes).

This will be a limited-time demo for Discord members only, to gather feedback and bug reports.

It'll be slightly different from the old demo, with a shortcut to jump straight into multiplayer.

Maybe everyone gets $5,000 in-game to quickly buy and test custom guitars in multiplayer?

📆 Release Timeline...?

There is no firm release date yet.

Optimistically, I'd love to finish development by the end of the year. But it could slip into early next year.

Some parts of the game take longer than others, and I'm still figuring out how to best spend development time.
