New Dorfromantik Board Game Edition

This October, we’re setting sail for a brand-new Dorfromantik board game edition. And this time, we’re heading to the South Seas!

Leave forests, meadows, and golden grain fields behind. Instead, you can look forward to a sparkling turquoise ocean, sandy islands, colourful coral reefs, and wooden walkways stretching as far as your bare feet can take you.

Whether you are building peaceful island landscapes, connecting little pieces of paradise, or simply dreaming of your next holiday, the new South Seas edition brings a fresh coastal twist to the relaxing Dorfromantik experience at the table.

The Dorfromantik Board Game Family

For everyone who has not explored our board game editions yet, here is a short introduction:

• Dorfromantik – The Board Game is the original cooperative experience. Together, you place tiles, build landscapes, complete tasks, and unlock new content over multiple games.

• Dorfromantik: The Duel turns the peaceful tile-laying experience into a friendly competition. Two players build their own landscapes while trying to score more points than their opponent.

• AddedDorfromantikSakura takes you to Japan, where cherry blossoms, rivers, and traditional scenery create a beautiful new setting for cooperative landscape-building.

• Dorfromantik: Light Luggage is the compact travel edition. It is designed for taking the Dorfromantik feeling with you wherever you go. Whether you are travelling, visiting friends, or just short on table space.

And soon, the brand new South Seas Edition will join the family! 🌴

We’d like to mention the team who contributed to the game. A huge thank you to Lukas Zach and Michael Palm for once again bringing the world of Dorfromantik from digital screens to the living room table, to Paul Riebe for the beautiful illustrations, and to Lisa Forsch for the graphic design & layout.

As with our previous board game editions, we are developing and releasing this new adventure together with our wonderful partner Pegasus Spiele.

We are planning to return to SPIEL ESSEN with Pegasus Spiele this October. SPIEL is the world’s largest public board game fair, bringing together publishers, designers, creators, and board game fans from around the globe for several days of new releases, demos, discoveries, and plenty of games to play.

At the moment, everything is looking promising that you will already be able to try out the new South Seas Edition at the fair. We are very excited about the possibility of welcoming you at the table for your first journey across turquoise waters and sunny island paths.
