Through the demo survey, social media, and other channels, we have received a wealth of feedback regarding the world-building, character designs, BGM, and the interrogation system. We truly feel the high expectations you have for this title, and we have carefully read through every single piece of your valuable feedback and requests.

Based on the community's feedback, we will be polishing the game—focusing primarily on the areas listed below—to deliver a more comfortable and immersive experience in the final release.

[Main Planned Adjustments & Improvements]

Improvements to Controls, UI, and Accessibility

To allow you to choose the control method that best suits your playstyle, we are adding the following features:

  • Keyboard support for certain controls

  • Auto text-forwarding

  • Fast text-forwarding

Additionally, we are polishing the following points that were highly requested by our users:

  • Adjustments to certain text sizes

  • Volume balance adjustments

Game Balance Adjustments

We are reviewing certain aspects of the game's balance to make conversing with the aliens even more enjoyable:

  • Adjusting the time limits during the interrogation phase

  • Making adjustments so that important questions are less likely to be missed

  • Adding a Gallery Mode

Graphic Quality Upgrades

To help you further immerse yourself in the game's world, we are improving the quality of certain graphics:

  • Unifying all graphics to be hand-drawn illustrations by the creators

  • Adding character animations

  • Adding new visual effects and presentations

Text Adjustments

To more accurately convey the unique sci-fi world and narrative intent of this game, we are reviewing the story and translation expressions so that players can better enjoy their conversations with the aliens.

Beyond the items listed above, we will continue to put our utmost effort into fine-tuning and upgrading the game's quality so that everyone can enjoy the world of Donutal to the fullest.

The demo is scheduled to remain available until April 21st at 8:00 PM (PDT). We will continue pushing forward with development, so please feel free to give the demo a try if you haven't already.
