Donut Dodo changes
First, a quick update on the new high score server:
I’m happy to report that it’s now complete and undergoing final testing. Once everything is ready, I’ll migrate Donut Dodo to the new platform, likely before summer.
Alongside this, the game will receive a brand-new Endless Mode with its own dedicated leaderboard. It’s quite challenging and a lot of fun, so there’s something new to look forward to.
Steam post image Cash Cow DX will follow at a later date. As a reminder, the existing Steam leaderboards for both games remain unaffected and fully operational.
Donut Dodo – A New Nintendo 64 Game
In other news, the latest Nintendo 64 port of Donut Dodo is also nearing completion and is now running on real hardware, as well as FPGA-based systems and emulators.
Producing physical N64 cartridges in small batches is quite costly, and it’s important to get the numbers right — not too many, and not too few. For that reason, I’ll be launching a Kickstarter campaign soon to help gauge demand and fund the initial production run.
If that idea resonates with you, I’d love for you to be part of it.
