What's Next for Don't Drop The Cake

Hello, this is Midoriyama, the developer of Don't Drop The Cake. We are thrilled that so many of you have played Don't Drop The Cake: Prologue, which was released in October.

Looking ahead, we plan to release a DEMO version for the upcoming Steam Next Fest (around February 2025). This version will improve upon the Prologue and bring it much closer to the final product.

Main Updates for the DEMO Version

  • Significant additions to the story

  • A "Full Reset on Death" mode

  • Content that progresses slightly beyond the Prologue

  • Enhanced and adjusted horror elements

  • Improved puzzle mechanics

Additionally, players who complete the DEMO version will be able to continue directly from where they left off in the full release.

While this is not a formal announcement, we are currently aiming to release the full version sometime in Spring to Summer 2025.

We will share more updates as the DEMO version release date approaches.

We would also love to hear your thoughts on the game, as well as any suggestions like, "I’d love to see this feature!" or "This could be better!" Your feedback is always welcome.

Thank you for your continued support of Don't Drop The Cake!
