Anyway, moving back to this update. We fixed some minor issues that came with the last couple of updates, and applied some feedback we saw recently in the last update announcement thread, in the Discord, and in the Steam community hub, to improve the game for current and future players.

In-Battle Evolutions Temporarily Disabled Another thing to note, we have temporarily disabled the in-battle evolutions for party monsters, as we noticed this created a new issue on it's own. Since the way these evolutions happen, there's no way to cancel them, which has it's own inconveniences.

We'd like to re-enable this feature soon, and currently considering the best ways to do so. Some ways we've thought up are as follows:

  • Re-enable it as is, but allow evolution canceling (similar to normal evolutions)

  • Adding an option to the settings that lets you toggle this feature on/off (off by default)

  • Adding an item that you unlock part-way through the game, which you can use to enable or disable party monster evolutions in-battle
