Demo Update – Gameplay Improvements & Fixes
We've just released a new DogPunk demo update with some quality-of-life and balance changes based on player feedback! If you've already tried the demo, it's a great time to jump back in!
Quality of Life Changes
Improved Wallrun – jumping directly toward a wall will attach the player to the wall and rotate the camera slightly to align with the wallrun direction.
Grapple Fix – adjusted air time so the grapple cancels earlier and prevents players from getting stuck
Added ADS sensitivity slider in settings
ESC / Pause now correctly returns to the previous menu
More accurate Overdrive and Health progress bars
Added audio feedback when unlocking and equipping upgrades in the Skill Tree
Reduced shield emissive brightness for better readability
Firing weapons and using abilities now cancel sprinting
Improved weapon sway behavior
Improved visual clarity on ability locked/unlocked states
Balance Changes
Increased Howlstrike damage and improved launch angle
Faster melee speed and increased melee execution damage.
Increased 5-kill streak health regeneration
Removed pistol fire rate cap
Other
Adjusted tutorial and added better lighting.
Improved mesh placement and polish in Assembly
Adjusted levels in Trials
