Demo Update – Gameplay Improvements & Fixes

We've just released a new DogPunk demo update with some quality-of-life and balance changes based on player feedback! If you've already tried the demo, it's a great time to jump back in!

Quality of Life Changes

  • Improved Wallrun – jumping directly toward a wall will attach the player to the wall and rotate the camera slightly to align with the wallrun direction.

  • Grapple Fix – adjusted air time so the grapple cancels earlier and prevents players from getting stuck

  • Added ADS sensitivity slider in settings

  • ESC / Pause now correctly returns to the previous menu

  • More accurate Overdrive and Health progress bars

  • Added audio feedback when unlocking and equipping upgrades in the Skill Tree

  • Reduced shield emissive brightness for better readability

  • Firing weapons and using abilities now cancel sprinting

  • Improved weapon sway behavior

  • Improved visual clarity on ability locked/unlocked states

Balance Changes

  • Increased Howlstrike damage and improved launch angle

  • Faster melee speed and increased melee execution damage.

  • Increased 5-kill streak health regeneration

  • Removed pistol fire rate cap

Other

  • Adjusted tutorial and added better lighting.

  • Improved mesh placement and polish in Assembly

  • Adjusted levels in Trials
