As a team, we wanted to thank everyone who has played the public demos when available and has forwarded their feedback our way. We’ve taken notice, and since the last time our demo was available, we’ve made drastic changes to how you play Dodolly Tales (while keeping everything you mentioned you liked), and we are really excited to show it off.
Not only have we changed mechanics, but also made improvements to the visuals. We’ve improved clarity on the abilities and enemies. We’ve tweaked other elements to be more cohesive with the narrative we’re trying to tell. Most importantly—the main type of enemies, the rat constructs.
We’ve also heard some requests for localization, and because of that, we are happy to announce that we’ve completed localization for Portuguese and German. So expect those changes in the following weeks.
