First off, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for giving the game a shot! I got a lot of valuable comments, suggestions, and bug reports this week. It was also great to see a grand majority of you were having a lot of fun with the game!
Suggestions and Quality of Life
Rocks
I noticed a lot of people were not a fan of rocks dropping your combo. Initially this was put in place to stop people from using rocks as crutch. So to meet you halfway.. - Rocks no longer drop your combo⛏️ - Rocks now deplete your combo timer by 1/4🪨 This basically means you can hit a rock a couple times before you will drop your combo. Just make sure you hit an enemy right afterwards!
Flashing White, Screen Shake, and Hit Freeze
The white flash on death is now maroon, and less bright. - Added an option to turn off full screen flashes. - Added an option to turn off screen shake. - Reduced the amount of hit freeze when striking non-enemies.
Gameplay Feedback
Added feedback when you get healed by the green flower🌼 - Added feedback when your combo ends. - Added red bars around the sides of the screen when you get hurt. - Made the combo timer bigger and color coded.
Fixes
Fixed several crashes. - Fixed saw-blade flower not colliding with trees. - Fixed some menu navigation bugs. - Fixed red centipedes not despawning.
