Dev Diary: Who is Kana Luna aka Mercury?

Who is Kana Luna aka Mercury? Kana was a student at UCLA, trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life. She studied criminology… She was supposed to be a cop, just like her mom. Following in her footsteps wasn’t as easy as she thought. While in school, Kana struggled with visions, leading her to drop out.

Her student loans? They didn’t wait, and she found herself with a bill she couldn’t possibly afford. She learned about a job that paid well, really well. Kana met Callisto (the guy from the trailer) and started delivering packages for the Costa Muerta, the local Syndicate. Before she knew it, Kana witnessed a murder and went on the run. Callisto trained her to fight back, to be deadly, to become an Enforcer. As Mercury, she hunted the man chasing her and unlocked her latent magical powers. Now, Mercury has returned to Los Angeles for work. She’s caught up in a supernatural war between Syndicates and investigating a magical serial killer using her visions of the past to guide her, her gun to protect her, and her magic to flatten enemies into paste. “So much for a warm welcome…” She’s not sure who she is, or who she’s supposed to become – but her story is in your hands… Coming soon…
