Dinosaurs Dominion changes
Hi everyone,
We have a huge announcement to make. After months of work, we're finally gearing up to leave Early Access! There’s a lot to unpack here so lets get started!
The World Awaits
By far one of the most difficult and momentous undertakings so far, we're proud to say that the maps for Dinosaurs Dominion are complete and now in their final, pre-shipping stages.
The full game will feature three distinct biomes, each with their own feel and gameplay flow:
Northern Lands. Your journey begins here, a snow covered mossy forest with a warmer regrowth zone.
Lakeside Valley. A vast forest with lakes and rocky highlands.
Ashen Wilds. A biome shaped by the aftermath of a forest fire, now in a state of regrowth. Inspired by The Lost World: Jurassic Park The Game (1997).
Each environment supports the game's semi-open design, adding more room for exploration and discovery.
Mutations Expanded
The mutation system has been heavily expanded, now featuring a total of 13 mutations split between carnivores and herbivores. Carnivores lean into offensive builds, emphasizing aggression and damage potential, while herbivores favor defensive and survival-focused traits. A new leveling system ties everything together, supporting meaningful progression for each run.
Features Comparison
To make things easier, we've put together a feature list comparing what's been added and improved between the current Early Access build and the upcoming 1.0 release.

There's still more behind the scenes and this list only highlights the major elements that's either been added or changed in the game.
Release Date
We’re aiming for a full release sometime in Late July. We're still ironing out a few things here and there along with some additional "niceties" for a better experience overall, but the core experience is pretty much locked in.
Release Price
The game’s price will increase from $5 to $10 when it's Fully Released and there are two main reasons for this.
First, we believe the scope of new content and overall improvements warrant the price increase at full release.
Second, I want to give back to those who supported Dinosaurs Dominion during Early Access. You believed in the game when it had only two playable dinosaurs and was full of bugs and that support meant everything. As a thank you, I want to make sure you’re getting real value in return.
The Road To 1.0
And that’s it for this devlog! I’d like to thank everyone who has supported the game so far. It's been a hell of a journey making this game, and from one dino geek to another, I’m truly grateful to be able to keep doing this as both a hobby and a part time career.
There are still a few weeks before the game fully launches and the price increases, so if you like what you see and want to support Dinosaurs Dominion, now’s the perfect time.
