Dino Nest changes
We proudly present the "Triceratops Species Pack" expansion to Dino Nest. This is a MAJOR free update with a herbivorous bonus content campaign added to the game and also a other exciting features, massive sharks, improvements, tweaks, optimizations and bug fixes. We hope for a smoother experience with faster progression and tons of high quality visual updates. To unlock the new bonus campaign just play to progress. Enjoy!
New playable species "Triceratops"
This addition to the game was decided by a community vote in 2022 for"next playable species"to be added to Dino Nest. The name "Triceratops" means three-horned face. Bearing a large bony frill and large horns on the skull as defensive weapons against predators triceratops is one of the most recognizable of all dinosaurs and one of the most popular. It shared the landscape with and was most likely preyed upon by Tyrannosaurus Rex.
New feature "Auto quick battles"
Auto resolve combat encounters function that should improve the gameplay for all carnivores in the game when out in the world.
New predator "Megalodon"
Megalodon meaning "big tooth" was a massive gigantic shark, regarded as one of the largest and most powerful predators to have ever lived. Their teeth are thick and robust, built for grabbing prey and breaking bone. Their large jaws exert a bite force that could challenge Spinosaurus or even Giganotosaurus. This shark has been added to all water areas in the game.
Recommended to start a new game
Older savefiles from previous versions should be compatible with this new version but we recommend everyone to start a new game for all the new features to work correctly. We always appreciate and try our best to apply any feedback given by you to make the game the best experience it can possibly be, so dont forget to leave any feedback you may have in the forums. Thanks for your support!
