Hi everyone!

It’s time for Devlog #3! We’ve had an incredible week of planning and building, and we’re excited to share the next steps for Survive the Era’s.

Defining the Experience We’ve spent a lot of time mapping out the "Era Flow." Our goal is to create a unique experience where the transitions and overlaps between time periods aren't just a gimmick, but a core part of how you play.

Better, Faster, Stronger Mechanics We’re not just reusing what we had. We’ve already started refining:

  • Active Combat: No more clicking once and watching Owen work.

  • Dynamic Pets: Each pet type (Gather, Fight, Mount) now has its own role.

  • Amulet Abilities: Owen’s amulet is becoming a powerful tool for survival.

Starting in Costa Rica Work has begun on the intro/tutorial set in modern-day Costa Rica. We learned a lot from The First Fracture, and our focus now is on making the environment feel alive. Expect more animations, moving foliage, and a dynamic atmosphere that sets the tone for the rest of the game.

Review Milestone Update: We’re still pushing for those 10 reviews on The First Fracture. If you haven't shared your thoughts yet, please consider leaving a quick review. It helps us grow more than you know!

Thanks for following the journey,

Mark & Jimmy
