Important Notice: Save Data Transfer from the Demo Version

To transfer your progress from the demo version to the full version, you must use manually saved save data.

Please note that AUTO save data cannot be transferred.

We are aware that, in some cases, even when using manually saved data, players may encounter an error message stating that “An unknown error has occurred.” This issue may prevent the game from functioning as expected.

HOW TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE

If you have encountered the issue described above, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and kindly ask you to try the following steps:

1, Launch the DEMO version and, from the title screen, change any option settings (e.g., graphics, sound), then save the settings.

2, After that, launch the FULL version of the game and try the data transfer again.

If the issue persists after trying the above, please also try the following:

1, Turn off Steam Cloud settings of FULL version In the “General” tab of the FULL version's properties, please disable the option “Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud for Digimon Story Time Stranger".

2, Move the save data from the FULL version

[How to move the save data] In your Steam Library, right-click on the icon for the FULL version of “Digimon Story Time Stranger,” select “Manage,” then click “Browse local files.” When the folder opens, go to the “gamedata” folder, then open the “savedata” folder and move all files inside to a separate folder.

3, Launch the DEMO version again and, from the title screen, change any option settings (e.g., graphics, sound), then save the settings.

4, Then, launch the FULL version of the game and try the data transfer again.
