Dice With Death changes
We hope you all have been enjoying Echoes! Before we have a small content and balance patch later this week, here's the issues that have been tackled in the last couple days.
Fixed Echoes Soldier not getting new Dice - Updated to a more robust games/wins/scoring save system in Echoes - Fixed issue with Excalibur Dice and Echoes kicking back to turn start - Fixed Dice duplication issue for Adventurer Echo - Fixed Echoes Life Gem disappearing Round 1 - Added details on Hover of Continue button (difficulty, health, round) - Fixed an issue where Poison Flask wouldn't affect Envenomed Blade
There are some more one off issues with Echoes games ending in odd ways and misapplying losses that are still under investigation.
Eternity Mode: Over time it's become increasingly evident that our core code architecture just does not support situations that arise in late Round (50+) Eternity runs. As Eternity was not an original game mode we designed for, and was not intended to be as long a play session as it is, we're forced into band aiding each situation as they come with less than stellar results. Without a full rebuild of the game from the ground up, this is just the reality of the situation.
We hope that knowing there's an end will encourage players to take more risks with Death's Deal to boost their scores. - Capped Eternity at 50 Rounds
