Patch Notes
New Achievement
Angry Baker Defeat the Angry Baker.
New Enemy Attacks
Abyssal Echo 3 Dice: Deal Σ × 3 damage, apply Σ Burn, and apply 1 Weakness.
Frostbite Piercer 2 Dice: Deal Σ × 2 damage, apply 1 Fatigue, and lock a random player die for Σ rolls.
Sandstorm Blast 2 Dice: Deal Σ × 2 damage, apply Σ Blind, and apply 1 Fatigue.
Vine Whip 2 Dice: Deal Σ × 2 damage, apply 1 Weakness, and apply Σ Poison.
New Blessings
Elite Blessings
Battle Hardened Whenever you take more than 10 damage, gain 1 Fortified.
Shrine Blessings
Martyr’s Resolve When you lose health, gain +1 Strength for every 5 health lost.
Unit Blessings
Hydra Head Whenever the enemy takes damage, the enemy gains 1 Attack, 1 Strength, and 1 Endurance.

Shattered Hope You no longer gain Blessing rewards after Elite fights.
New Enchantments
Blood Surge On maximum roll, heal 5 Health. On minimum roll, take 5 damage.
Bloodlust Heal 3 Health when rolling the maximum value.
Critical Roll Double your current Strength when rolling the maximum value.
Duality On even rolls, gain Strength equal to the roll value. On odd rolls, take damage equal to the roll value.
Explosive When rolling the minimum value, deal 1 damage to yourself and 3 damage to the enemy.
Fragile Strength Gain 5 Strength on roll. Permanently lose 1 max face value on use.
Frostbite On maximum roll, the enemy loses Strength equal to your roll.
Loaded Whenever you roll the minimum value, reroll.
Overcharge Strength counts double if this die was used.
Pyromancer On use, remove all your Block and apply that much Burn to the enemy.
Revenge When rolling the minimum value, deal damage equal to your missing Health.
Shadow Veil Gain 10 Precision when rolling the maximum value.
New Item Status
Chain Reaction Using this item immediately decreases the use count of all other items by 1.

Footwork Vest Up to 3 Dice: Gain Σ Block and Σ ÷ 5 Strength.
Phoenix Armor Up to 2 Dice: Gain Σ Block and apply Σ × 0.5 Burn to the enemy.
Soulbound Aegis Up to 2 Dice: Gain Σ Block.
Flame Dagger 1 Die: Deal Σ × 0.5 damage and apply Σ × 0.5 Burn.
Very Heavy Hammer 5 Dice: Deal Σ × 2 damage.
Frost Shield Up to 2 Dice: Gain Σ Block and Σ Thorn, then apply 1 Weakness to the enemy.
Guardian Totem Up to 3 Dice: Gain Σ × 2 Block. If you have more than 50 Block, gain 1 Fortified.
Cheesy Charm Gain 3 Health and 1 Strength.
Gilded Coin Σ % 6 = 6: Gain N Endurance.

Healing events now display the player’s current Health, the amount healed, and the player’s Health after healing.
Enchantments
Strength has been renamed to Armored to reduce confusion.
Detox Old
Remove 1 Poison when used.

Remove 1 Weakness when used.

Remove 3 Weakness when used.
Items
Items that previously required an exact value cost, such as [c]Σ = 20[/c], now use modular requirements, such as [c]Σ % 20 = 20[/c].
Cursed Blood Old
Apply 3 Weakness.

Apply 5 Weakness.
Gambler’s Dice Cost changed from 1 to 2.
Bug Fixes
Several bugs have been fixed and added

Future of Dice Hero
This update includes "improved" art, but many of these assets are still temporary and will be replaced in the future.
About 1.5 years ago, I started working at a larger game studio. One of my former co-workers from that studio will be helping me replace all AI-generated artwork in Dice Hero: The Unoriginal Story with handcrafted art. This process will take time, but it is one of my main goals for the final release.
Before the full release, the main priorities for Dice Hero: The Unoriginal Story are:
Finish multiplayer, drafting.
Replace all AI-generated images with handcrafted artwork.
Polish and improve the VFX.
I will also continue adding more content until the game reaches its final release.
Dice Hero: The Unoriginal Story was never meant to grow this large. It started as a 48-hour game jam project, but over time it has become much bigger than I ever expected. I’m excited to keep improving it and to shape it into the best version it can be and sorry for the slow progress.
