Devlog #3 - Weapons

In this update we’ll show off some weapons that you might stumble upon during all your fun adventures of the total collapse of society as we know it. Does anyone really need more than a giant metal ball and the laws of physics to pulverize a turret? Someone recently asked us this, and what a stupid question that was. Of course you need more than this. More is more in this case, and we have got MORE:

Crossbow: The power of puny, medieval ballistics technology at your fingertips. Arrows are to bullets what porridge is to a gourmet dinner. It’s not amazing, but it gets the job done. Also porridge is pretty much the only thing you can make by now.

Grenade Launcher: Essentially a fancy blow dart that shoots grenades. Time your aim right and account for the delay until the grenade explodes. There’s major skill-shot potential here. Also possibly self-injury.

Lightning gun: Harness the power of *checks notes* an electrostatic discharge, otherwise known as lightning, to light up the battlefield. If frying turret motherboards (and probably everything in your general viscinity) is your thing, the lightning gun is the way to go.

Laser gun: Lasers! Who the hell knows how they work? We sure don’t. All we know is that this laser gun is particularly good at slicing, melting and generally disintigrating anything in its path. Do not aim directly into the eyes (unless they are attached to a turret).
