How to Opt In

  1. Right-click Destiny of the World in your Steam Library.

  2. Select Properties → Betas.

  3. Choose [c]dotwtest[/c].

  4. Steam will download the native Linux beta build.

If you do not see [c]dotwtest[/c], restart Steam and check again.

PBEM Warning

If You Previously Used Proton

  1. Right-click Destiny of the World Properties → Compatibility

  2. Uncheck Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool

  3. Uninstall Destiny of the World

  4. Restart your computer

  5. Follow the steps above under How to Opt In

What to Expect

  • This is an early beta, so some rough edges may remain.

  • Full gameplay is available, including single-player and PBEM multiplayer.
