Desolation Tycoon changes
If you enjoyed Desolation Tycoon, you might enjoy our newest game: Beasts of Fortune, which is out today.
Beasts of Fortune is a roaming warband roguelike. You play as a band of mercenaries roaming an open world. Combat happens in an autobattler style. While traveling, you have to deal with terrain, weather, and regional conditions. Oh, and lots of enemies.
Somewhat uniquely, possible units are procedurally generated each game. So you couldn't fall into a meta rut even if you wanted to.
The game gets harder over time, and you have to keep up. But the game will never force a goal or quest on you: everything is optional, and you always have the freedom to do something else.
