Steam post image Hey all!
It's summer sale time, so the game is 20% off for two weeks - to celebrate, we've added another small update. This one is specific to Steam, and contains two small updates: rich presence and Steam Timeline/Game Recording. Let's get into it.
Rich Presence.
This is the little thing that appears by your name when you're playing a game. So now, if you're sharing that information with friends on Steam, it will give more specifics than "playing Demonschool." Friends will be able to see exactly where you are in the game. It also makes it easier to find other people who are playing the game.
Steam Timeline & Game Recording.
This gives greater granularity to Steam's game recording feature. In the recording Timeline Steam now shows marker pins at the start of all main story and sidequests for easy clipping. Some special events get also get special pins, like combos, special attacks, and students joining your party. You can click on these markers to easily make clips for editing video (or sending us bugs, ha ha).
All mainline story quests are now properly detected and split out as separate events in the Session view. The event name is listed, along with the students you used in battle during that event, as well as a complete list of all the demons you kill.

That's what we've got, but there's another special surprise coming next week or so - be on the lookout for it! To squash any speculation, it's not the DLC, which we are still working on. But you can and should wishlist that here!

Fixed some typos in week 10, 2 & the pretzel quest
Fixed some stray transparent pixels in some of Faye’s portrait sprites

‘But I'm Invincible’ achievement no longer incorrectly unlocked at the end of any battle with Cube enemies - you gotta kill them yourself!
Fixed incorrect sprite sampling mode on Destin's combo cutin
Battle
Paladin Shield no longer blocks the floating sorcerer's defence down spell - Protective Shields now only block damage, not status ailments
Fixed issues when receiving GRABBED status while having a protective shield
Fixed Possession Demon dealing damage through a protective shield
Added BLOCK popup when a protective shield absorbs a hit
"Phase" technique no longer incorrectly passes through explosives or rolling carts (consistent with the preview when hovering over the move)
