Demon Seed changes
I wanted to thank you for all the feedback. Most issues were related to first-time user experience, and I think that I addressed them in this update.
What changed?
Loot Balance - Some locations were almost empty, while others had too much valuable loot. Poorer locations will now contain more resources to ensure players can survive.
Random first city - I selected the best city as the starting location and increased the food drop rate there.
Location size - Some locations were larger than intended and have been adjusted.
It was very hard to find light sources, making nights extremely dark. A flashlight will now spawn during the tutorial.
It is now easier to perform consecutive heavy attack sequences.
Loot Markers – New optional feature (can be turned off in Settings). It adds a small dot marker to all searchable containers.
Graphics settings – Added options to toggle VSync and Lock FPS.
Release Date - 12 March 2026
The game has been content-ready since January. Since then, we’ve been focusing on multiplayer testing and improving the overall game flow. While final tests are still ongoing, I believe it’s in good shape for release.
