changedWe've gotten a lot of feedback since launch, and we've been thinking a lot about it. Most of the criticism has been about the lack of gameplay, and we agree with that for the most part, so we've been thinking a lot about where we want to go with future updates, and we apologize for the delay.

changedUpdate informationWe had a very frustrating system for spawning and too many difficulties telling the story of Black Storm and Hades in a fun way with our limited staffing and development capabilities, so we decided that we couldn't continue in our current direction and decided to reboot the game from the current story to the story after we defeated Hades.

addedUpdate informationThe purpose of the reboot is to make it more playable. So with this reboot, we're going to be changing or adding a lot of systems related to foraging, not just stories.

addedUpdate informationAlone, Kore rebirths many of the Porings in the empty forest under her own power, restoring the forest and becoming the new Forest Mama.

(Reboot 1) The story of restoring an empty forest

The Light Poring succeeded in driving Hades back into the underworld, but the spirits of the forest were consumed and the forest was left empty. And Mama, the owner of the forest, is gone.

Alone, Kore rebirths many of the Porings in the empty forest under her own power, restoring the forest and becoming the new Forest Mama.

All it takes to restore the forest is the birth of a Poring.

Porings are no longer born through the portal of birth. You also don't have to go through the unpleasant task of giving birth to a poring.

As soon as you find a Poring, you can pick it up and spawn it on the spot. When a Poring is born, the forest around it is restored.

(Reboot 2) Collecting flowers and using them

Previously, flowers and animals were elements for Poring Missions. Now, they'll be elements that Kore can forage for himself. Kore can be used for a variety of purposes, such as gathering flowers to buy consumable items.

(Reboot 3) Customize your forest

Instead of just restoring an empty forest, you'll now be able to customize it. You can remove or rearrange the grass or trees in the forest. This allows you to create your own forest.

We're also working on more reboot elements, feature improvements, bug fixes, game optimizations, and more.

[Roadmap]

We'll be releasing a detailed roadmap in a other document, but here's a rough roadmap.

Q1 2024

You'll be able to add fishing, hunting, and more to your game life.
You'll be able to see more stories about Eleusis.

Q2 2024

Add networking features so you can go to your friend's forest.

Q3-Q4 2024

You'll be able to add more elements to your forest to make it even more personalized.
We're adding new outfits for Kore to make him even cuter and more unique.
You'll be able to see stories about Kore and Mama.

We know that many of you were disappointed with the lack of gameplay, and with this reboot, we'll be working hard to fill in the gaps with your feedback so that we can continue to make the game more and more fun.
