Delivery Driver Massacre - Definitive Edition changes
First of all, I want to sincerely apologise to everyone who had a negative experience at launch. I'm a solo developer and despite my best efforts, several bugs slipped through that significantly impacted the experience. That's on me, and I'm sorry.
I've spent the last 48 hours fixing everything reported by the community. Here's what's been updated:
🔪 KILLER AI - Complete Overhaul
The killer has been completely rebuilt. He is now smarter, more aggressive, and much harder to manipulate:
No blind spot - senses you within 3m in all directions, no more sneaking behind him
Hearing system - sprinting audible at 14m, walking at 6m, crouching keeps you hidden
Suspicion meter - investigates suspicious sounds before committing to a full chase
Velocity prediction - predicts where you ran when he loses sight of you
Smarter searching - checks your predicted escape path before expanding search
Proximity attack - attacks at close range from any direction, no more safe spots
🛠️ BUG FIXES
Fixed NavMesh obstacle carving, killer no longer gets stuck on furniture or props
Fixed master bedroom key bug
Fixed achievements unlock and order
Fixed killer chase music not looping
Fixed UI bug on game over screen
Fixed soft lock when killer corners player
Fixed player jumping when uncrouching after picking up items
Fixed text staying on screen after hiding
Fixed padlock display issue
Fixed battery drop point on radio interaction
Added flare indicators on disarmable traps
Multiple collision and interaction range improvements throughout
Fixed player momentum carrying over after item interactions
Please verify your game files via Steam to get the latest build. If you experienced issues at launch I'd genuinely appreciate you giving it another shot, it's a very different experience now.
