Update Notes for 2023-10-18

The following changes were made: Other crashes were reported. It seems the issue is related to Unity and concerns at least some particle systems. Updating the software's version did not seem to prevent such crashes.

removedOther crashes were reported. It seems the issue is related to Unity and concerns at least some particle systems. Updating the software's version did not seem to prevent such crashes. Multiple modifications have been attempted (changes with shaders, particle system parameters, global parameters, camera settings...) but nothing seems to prevent crashes entirely while preserving very high amounts of particles. Therefore, multiple particle systems have been either highly simplified or entirely eliminated. The most obvious culprit (a bunch of trails found in chapter 3 and 9) has been removed.

  • Chapter 12's boss behaviour was badly reinitialized when restarting the fight without restarting the chapter. Reinitialization is now correct.

One reported crash found in chapter 12 is still being investigated. So far, I have not managed to reproduce it through a few hours of continuous playtime and tests.
