addedGood day Degenheim Fam! Even though many of you have already noticed, the new and updated Demo has been lowkey out in the wild for a couple of months now, which helped us to collect further data and feedback. We are now officially announcing it, as we are happy with the current state of the game.. So, what’s the Demo about, and what is new in our latest version 0.3.3? Here’s the digestible breakdown:
addedDemo Content – This Demo features 3 out of the total 10 chapters, each chapter is associated with chapter-specific unlockable ability pools, unique mini-bosses and bosses, environments and enemies. You will have 7 out of total 22 unhinged heroes to unlock (we originally planned a roster of 20, but sometimes you just have to vent the creativity, or perhaps insanity), a fully functional online 4-player co-op, 5 game difficulties for the masochists, and a leaderboard to bolster the good ‘ole competitive spirit. And of course, we just had to add new (freaking 7 thus far) game events that randomly spawn in levels to stir the pot a bit, like exploding poop or spitting toilets. Yeah, hard to explain, you better see for yourself. Oh, and did we mention 14 new abilities you can further customize your playstyle with and literally meme on your friends? ‘Cuz yeah, that got in too. With this, we will also be saying bye to our long-running closed-beta Playtest, bon voyage, and cheers to the new chapter!
fixedSupport & Fixes: - Complete controller scheme overhaul - The new scheme should now be fully compatible with Xbox/PS5 controllers - The new scheme should now be fully compatible with SteamDeck and other Handhelds - Significantly changed and improved how Ranged and AOE abilities are targeted when using controllers (you can either tap to cast on the nearest enemy, or hold to manually aim) - Added useful hints on screen allowing for immediate interaction recognition - Significantly improved controller UI navigation - Significantly improved controller Hovers recognition and visibility - Tweaked Handhelds’ display ratios - Tweaked Ultra-wide monitors’ ratios - Enabled always-on Servers to reduce the loading times - Fixed multiple instances of incorrect Audio and Sound Effects - Significantly improved the hints on and functionality of Co-Op connectivity and Game Invites
addedGame Balance: - Attic Knight’s HP increased - Finetuned damage values on Bleed and Agony builds - Added a helluva lot more enemies to stages (community asked, we listened) - Finetuned damage values of several abilities like Dashes and Meteors
