Repeated intro

Hello everyone I am excited to show my new game I have been working on. You can check it out here. It is very different from deformed but also similar in ways. Spirit of the Dome Deformed News So it has been a while since theres been a deformed update and I will explain what happened. So basically I was working on the next update and it was really big, with voice acting, tons of optimizations and UI updates, Huge rework of the sewer and cinematics, switched to unreal 5.6, However I had a huge disk failure so the disk I had the files on I couldn't open anymore and I basically lost a few weeks of progress, I only had a backup I made a while back, It might not sound like much lost but I work pretty fast and it was kind of demotivating to redo all that again. At the end of the day there is always going to be something to improve on the game, I had already spent almost 3 years on it so it was a good time to move on. So no more updates? probably not, it would take probably months to fix it up again and the game really dosnt make much money. The game has some big problems in its core because of the way I made it, It was my first game and had lots of noob mistakes with the code, like almost everything was made in its own scripts basically, every text popup, character, enemy, weapon, animations. I have now learned to use master and child scripts and everything else will update, much faster, something working on this new game has taught me. I have gotten much better with scripting working on Spirit of the Dome. So it is good to take a break from working on the same thing. I do still have big plans for "deformed" however most of them would involve changing the game too much for an update. So the plan someday is to remake the game and its sequel into one linear game. It would focus much more on the story and characters and it won't be a "souls like". I wish I could say more but they are watching me Join the Sprit of the Dome discord, it is open for everyone, Will have some news on there soon.
