changedBabushka Entertainment here, and today we’re thrilled to give you an inside look at the battlefields you’ll be conquering in Defenders of the Omniverse . For our Early Access release, you'll be starting your journey on the Cyborc Wasteland, a planet devastated by nuclear armageddon and inhabited by tribes of savage, mutated orcs with crude cybernetic augmentations. The Cyborc Wasteland is divided into three distinct biomes: The Wasteland, The Slaughterfields, and The Swamp.

The landscape is dotted with rusted remnants of battle machines, old and new, and the ground crunches underfoot, littered with countless bones. Before the Dark Wizard Umbros united the orc tribes, they congregated here to wage endless war, driven by an insatiable thirst for bloodshed. At the heart of the Slaughterfields lies the Great Arena, awaiting mighty champions ready to challenge the strongest orc to ever live.

addedThe SwampOnce Defenders of the Omniverse is in Early Access, we’ll spend time analyzing your feedback and squashing the inevitable bugs that arise as you dive into the game. After that, we’ll set our sights on the next planet, featuring entirely new environments, enemies, and vibes. To hint at what’s coming next, think “space” and “Vikings.” 😉

The Wasteland

Picture vast dunes bleached by an unforgiving sun and barren rocks stretching as far as the eye can see. This desolate landscape is the result of an ancient nuclear war that obliterated civilization and gave rise to the brutal cyborcs. Here, deformed beasts and bloodthirsty orcs roam freely. There are whispers of a towering monstrosity stalking the desert’s edges, perpetually hungry for fresh meat...

The Slaughterfields

Welcome to the dark lands where a great war ended in utter devastation centuries ago. The landscape is dotted with rusted remnants of battle machines, old and new, and the ground crunches underfoot, littered with countless bones. Before the Dark Wizard Umbros united the orc tribes, they congregated here to wage endless war, driven by an insatiable thirst for bloodshed. At the heart of the Slaughterfields lies the Great Arena, awaiting mighty champions ready to challenge the strongest orc to ever live.

The Swamp

On Cyborc, water is a precious and scarce resource. Clean water is non-existent; even before the planet was engulfed in nuclear fire, ancient orc industries had already polluted the rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans. Now, centuries after the atomic apocalypse, the most common liquid is the glowing green sludge seeping from time-worn pipes. Most living beings perish upon contact with it or by inhaling its fumes, but those that survive are grotesquely mutated by radiation. They say everything strives to evolve into crabs - come and see if that holds true here...
