We just deployed our second major update for Defend the Cake. Here's what we've been working on:
Changelog
The following enemies now have animations! - Drone Bee - Super Worm - Caterpillar/Butterfly - Jetpack Grasshopper - Armored Beetle
Added a death animation for the Worm
When you rewind to the previous day, your Eggbirds will now be assigned to whatever jobs they had when you clicked Ready - Due to changes made to the save file format, unfortunately all Replay Score Attack saves had to be reset. Sorry about that!
If you exit a level before completing it, you will now be able to resume where you left off
Updated the art on the Anthill
Updated some Eggbird art
The Butterfly will now show the path it will take to the cake
Tweaked the sand on the Pineapple levels to make the playable space more clear
Added a graphics quality setting
Added new sounds, and updated some existing ones
Added some tutorial messages to explain new mechanics when they appear
Balance tweaks
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where Strawberry Shooters would get visually stuck in their powered up state when being webbed by a Spider
Fixed an issue where multiple Spiders could shoot webs at the same structure
Fixed an issue where Eggbirds could overlap in odd ways during the day
Fixed an issue where sometimes enemy death animations would not play if an enemy of that type had previously stolen a cake slice
