Choo choo, hey everyone.
It has been a while since the last update, so here we go. Since the start of the year we have been steadily working through the planned content, and also came up with a bunch of new ideas we did not plan at first. Hope you will like them, it is going to be very narrative heavy. Honestly, it is kind of crazy how much you can do in Construct 3, that is the engine we are using for DPM.
Here is what is going on in more detail.
— 4 out of 5chapters are written. The fourth one turned out even bigger than the third. They will probably take about the same time to play, but the fourth has more branching.
— Art is almost done. We only have a few big locations and some simpler backgrounds left. Maybe we will add a bit more, but either way we are close to the finish line here.
— Our friends from Gameowdio made a few more tracks for us and added a lot of sound. The sound design for chapter two is almost done, next up is chapter three and the rest.
Our main priority is still to release a polished and stable game. We were aiming to release in the next few months, but now we see that we will not make it. Sorry ːneedy_heartː DPM will need a bit more time, but it is definitely coming out this year. We will share a new release date once the main content is finished and we are sure there will be no more delays.
More updates soon, and remember: the storm does not last forever (and game development does not either!).
