Deep Fog Signals changes
π»π»π» InterfaceX26 is coming π»π»π»
During Apr 27-May 4, this showcase will celebrate Fake OS games, bringing together 150+ developers to spotlight the genre and featuring a week-long sale and a live showcase of 32 upcoming titles including Deep Fog Signals!
π·οΈ One of the primary aims of this event is to convince Steam to create a dedicated, browsable "Fake OS" tag for such games, by coordinating a community push to tag all the participating games on Steam! Please help us achieve this goal by using the handy tool at https://interfacex.net/tag/ for speed. Trust us, you'll get through 151 games in the blink of an eye using this thing!
Did you know? Fake OS games are an entire beloved genre, also known under many other names: Interface Sims, Interface Dramas, Desktop/Phone Sims, and Found Device games!
π Ahead of the Steam event, the community has already put together an Itch.io collection of the participating games, check it out: https://itch.io/c/7033480/interfacex-virtual-expo
The live showcase on May 2 will be hosted by GameSpotβs Kurt Indovina and Lucy James, with appearances from creators including Jesse Cox, Dodger, Nookrium, and Stormfall33. We're just floored that these experienced creators and hosts will be looking at our game, as you can probably imagine π
You also won't believe the trailer video the organizers have put together π
