changedThe Deathplane demo has been updated to version 0.1.0. This update is mainly intended to address some concerns and suggestions based on player feedback from Steam Next Fest. A huge thank you goes out from me to everyone who had played and is playing the demo.
addedAdded checkpoints Checkpoints are represented as a cracked blue block in-game Checkpoints will do a short autosave of your current level progress and save it in the file “checkp1.sav” under %LocalAppData%/dplane__active_ Deathplane position, player position and whether you have a key is saved Checkpoints persist throughout sessions but will not be automatically loaded when you enter the level Checkpoints only load once you die Loading a checkpoint will not reset the level to its initial state Checkpoint files can be deleted from the main menu by deleting your save file You can only have one checkpoint at once; entering a new level and touching a checkpoint will erase your last one Checkpoints will remain active as long as you touch them unless a deathplane is touching them You can disable checkpoints from the settings menu The game will slow down when touching a checkpoint; this will be addressed in the next patch
removedYou can no longer “kill” flags by touching them with a deathplane This caused many issues, the biggest one being that when you kill a flag, the level restarts, essentially creating a point from which you can no longer move the deathplane.
addedLevel 1-2 now has a floor beneath the flag
fixedFixed the green coins making a sound even when sound effects are off
addedYou can now return to the Main Hub directly from the tutorial instead of only from the menu
