Dealer's Life Legends Update #8 Is Out Now!

Enjoy the new features coming with version 0.801! They’ll enrich not only your negotiating experience but will also test your abilities! That's right, we have added a local leaderboard and game scoring to assess your skills throughout your quest to become the richest dealer in the Kingdom!

💎 Improved controller support: We added more buttons to manage the diary (LT) and city details (RT) from any UI that shows them. The old buttons (back and start) are still working and can still be used, but from now on, the UI showing the keybind shortcuts will only show RT and LT.

• Auto save after events, to avoid cheating by reloading the game after a bad event or a bad choice taken

• Game scoring and leaderboard: At the end of every game, just after the ending animation, a score will be assigned and recorded on a local leaderboard. Game score is influenced by the player's total assets value (the more the better), how many days it took to meet the Emperor (the less the better), and the difficulty chosen (harder difficulties will grant different magnitude orders of score)

💎 Hirable Companions boost: With this update, we will grant 1 more Companion slot to every caravan's living quarters upgrade. From now on, every new game will still start with 1 available Companion slot, but the first upgrade will grant 2 more, and the maximum number of slots reachable in the game will be 6. If a player is in the middle of a game and he has already bought a living quarter update, one more companion slot will be granted for free

💎 Item zoom pop-up: We added the ability to see a bigger image of the buying/selling item during any negotiation (by selecting the smaller item's image in the trade details UI) and in the item inventory section of the diary (by selecting the new dedicated button in the item’s details section)

💎 Prestige balance for negotiations: Previously, it was only possible to gain +1 Prestige (if the customer never became angry) or no Prestige (if the customer became angry at least once). From now on, the player will be able to win or lose different amounts of Prestige, depending on their level of compliance with the customer. If the customer gets angry, it won't be good for business!

💎 Various little QoL interventions, including some more colored text to add detail and visibility, and a counter in Item Catalogue showing the amount of unlocked items and total items present in the game."

While these changes may seem smaller compared to the usual, this time we decided to focus on the foundation of what is going to be included in our next update, which will be one of the biggest in Dealer’s Life Legends' history!
