addedToday we begin the public testing of update 1.8!We are very excited to hear your feedback during this test, as version 1.8 brings some major changes. Weapon balance and crafting has been completely rebalanced, with the goal to improve combat and progression. There is also plenty of new content like the R-12 revolver, new weapon mods like SMG and AR suppressors, sloped roofing, display mannequins, and more!
addedToday we begin the public testing of update 1.8!First up, let’s dig into the weapon rebalance as we have a lot to cover there. This rebalance addresses feedback from our community regarding durability, repair, and weapon accuracy. It also takes into account the new weapon attachments, as they shake up balance as well. We believe weapons are now more realistic, with each weapon having a more specialized role for more variety in gameplay.
changedToday we begin the public testing of update 1.8!In general, all weapons will now be more accurate with higher muzzle velocity and less drop. To limit effective range, bullets now lose damage as they travel through the air. The rate at which they lose damage depends on the caliber, for example pistol and smg rounds will lose damage much faster than a rifle or sniper. This solution is more realistic, and simplifies shooting for the player.
changedToday we begin the public testing of update 1.8!Weapon durability has been adjusted according to your feedback as well. All weapons have had their durability value increased by 2-3 times on average, meaning it will take 2-3 times longer for your weapons to lose durability.
changedToday we begin the public testing of update 1.8!On the other hand, how you repair weapons has been changed as well. Previously we had weapon parts according to weapon type, sniper parts for example. Now each weapon has its own individual parts. So an MG-36 requires MG-36 parts to be repaired. This will make maintaining high tier weapons more difficult, as obtaining their parts will require more effort. Previously you could maintain your M99 easily with sniper parts, which you could get by grabbing a bunch of Mosins or S85s from a mission. Now you will need M99 parts, which are much more rare. Additionally, machine oil will be required to repair

No need to worry about a wipe as well, in version 1.8 you will retain all your progress! No wipe!

⚠️However, if you have a base on Mirny in G4, your base may be deleted ⚠️ This is due to the addition of a new structure on the beach, north west of the sawmill POI. More info can be found in this post below, directly above the patch notes
